Hillegersberg where the American and Japanese International Schools are situated and there are many excellent Dutch schools also. It has several shopping area's with a large diversity of shops. Like designer shops bars and restaurants. Also Hillegersberg has a nice recreation area for the whole family.

The area Prinsenland is situated between Kralingen and Capelle aan den IJssel. Prinsenland is provided with a small but practical shoppingarea. It is an ideal suburb for families with children who want to live close to the center and near all acces roads.

In Kralingen you will find a very picturesque lake and recreation aera with a golf-corse. Erasmus University is located on the outskirts of Kralingen offering a full spectrum of undergrauate and post graduate study. Electric tram 7 goes straigth towards the Center of Rotterdam.

Blijdorp is was built between 1930 and 1940 and has a lot of typical buildings for this period. The Zoo with the same name is a big attraction in Rotterdam and all kinds of shops are available in this area.
